What is Students’ Council?
The Students’ Council works for the betterment of students at BVC. It was established within the Post-Secondary Learning Act of Alberta and it is governed by the bylaws of the Bow Valley College Student Association. The Council is elected by the students of BVC and is the legislative authority of the Student Association.
How can I become involved with the SA?
There are a number of ways:
Become a candidate for student council elections.
Volunteer with the SA. Drop by our offices, call at 403 410 1695, or email us at mailsa@bowvalleycollege.ca.

What do the councillors do?
The councillors’ work with the Student Council includes the following:
serving on committees
supporting and participating in events for the students at BVC
relaying information to students and faculty
attending regular Student Council meetings
attending committee meetings
collaborating with students and college administration
